As I was washing dishes the other day, I found my son, Noah, to be wandering off into the other areas in the kitchen trying to find something that he can get into that he wasn’t supposed to. I thought about putting him back into his highchair with a snack, to bribe him to sit still but then I thought of another idea. I thought back to an activity I found on a blog that’s called Hands on As We Grow, here’s the link to what this mom did. http://handsonaswegrow.com/toddler-activity-cups/
It was an AMAZING activity. I had Noah sit on the floor with the plastic cups and showed him he could stack them on top of each other to make a tower or putting a cup together in another cup. I was not only able to wash dishes, but wipe the counters clean, and clean up the living room, and make coffee for myself. Let’s just say this was and is a great activity to preoccupy your toddler from getting into things while you’re cleaning up.
So for all those moms out there, you should try it! It’s so simple. All you need are plastic cups and your toddler will be busy enough for you to get things done, for about an hour or so. Hope you enjoyed the post. Thanks for reading it. Comment or Share if you’d like.
Soon I will be showing you how to create a playroom on a budget for a toddler. (Soon and not now because I have just a couple more things to work on for it). Have a great day!
